Counselling for Young People (Ages 12-18)

If you're struggling with anxiety, low mood, bullying, self harm, or peer/family relationships, you may find it helpful to talk to somebody separate from your day to day life, and outside of the school environment.

When working with you as a young person, I tailor the way I work to suit you as an individual. You may prefer to have something to do whilst you talk, such as colouring or using a fidget toy. I also have resources such as feelings cards which can help if you're unsure where to start. We can discuss ways of working and your preferences during your initial session.

Sessions last for 1 hour and cost £50. People usually attend counselling weekly, however some prefer two weekly sessions, it's completely up to you. You can either attend at the same day and time each week, or varied.

Counselling for Adults

People come to counselling for a variety of different reasons and at different times in their life. You may seek counselling for stress, anxiety, or relationship issues. Your day to day life might be affected, or you might need to offload or find some ways to cope. Counselling is for everyone and anyone at any time in their lives.

Online counselling

Online counselling can be a great alternative option if face to face isn't an option for you. There are many reasons people may choose or prefer online counselling:

- it is convenient,

effective,

- easily accessible,

- can be accessed from the comfort of your own home, -and no need to travel.

I use Microsoft Teams which is easy to use. I email you a link prior to your session, which takes you straight into the meeting.
