About Me

My name is Zoe and I am a fully qualified and insured counsellor, accredited with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

I have 10 years employment experience in young people's, adult, and elderly care settings, including individuals with learning difficulties, and individuals diagnosed with dementia and health issues. I have worked with children in care and also children with complex needs, closely alongside parents.

Prior to this I took part in various voluntary work, including working with Homestart, and with voluntary services overseas (VSO) in Kenya. It was a combination of these experiences which sparked my interest in counselling. 

 

Whilst undertaking my qualification I spent 2 years counselling at an organisation offering affordable counselling. I now run my private practice on Wednesdays at The Devon Family Hub in Ivybridge, Devon.
